Tom Powell

Mr. Powell has over 15 years of comprehensive finance experience focused on real estate capital markets. Mr. Powell has transacted primarily with life insurance companies, banks, private equity firms, debt funds and bond rating agencies with total capitalization over $1 billion. Since 2020, Mr. Powell has been consulting for various companies on numerous projects providing services on over $2 billion of assets. Mr. Powell was an Asset Manager at AMC Investments focusing on private equity investments with total underlying capitalization over $400 million. Prior to AMC, he was Vice President at Pacific Southwest Realty Services, where he secured over $300 million of debt capital with total underlying capitalization of over $600 million. Mr. Powell began his career as an Analyst at Lee and Associates, providing services to a Real Estate Investment Trust that acquired and operated shopping centers in the Western United States. Mr. Powell graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a specialization in Finance and received an MBA from University of Arizona with a specialization in Finance. He attended San Diego State University where he completed the Construction Project Management Certificate. Mr. Powell has a California Real Estate Broker License, Argus Enterprise Certificate, Alta Title 101 and Alta Title 201 Certificates. He is Procore Certified as a Project Manager at Owner (Project Management).
